On October 16, in Tbilisi, at the Ken Volker clinic, the conference "Rao Rao? - I can communicate" was held. Main topic: 1. Alternative and augmentative communication and 2. Rett syndrome October is awareness month for these two topics. In order to celebrate this, a week about Rett's syndrome and means of communication is being held in Georgia. They share their experience with us - Gerna Scholte, a language and speech therapist from the Netherlands, Hanneke Borst, a physical therapist, Kitty van der Werff, a special teacher, Kitty van der Werff, the president of the Dutch parents' association, Marielle van der Berg, an orthopedic surgeon. The training is multidisciplinary - specialists from different fields work in a small group within the training. As a result, specialists acquire skills that they will use with children. "Ken Walker University Medical Rehabilitation Clinic" conducts training entitled: Mental health rehabilitation through psychotherapeutic methods The training will be led by Nino Menagarishvili, psychiatrist, psychotherapist, doctor of medicine.
