Clinical Center of Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation was established in 2008 as an integral part of the Faculty of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation of Tbilisi State Medical University.
The center offers health screening of athletes and the population engaged in physical activity to determine the adequacy of physical activity and the functional state of the body, as well as the prevention, treatment and rehabilitation of traumatic injuries of the musculoskeletal system.
In addition to the clinical direction, the center also includes both undergraduate and postgraduate educational activities.
The medical staff of the Clinical Center is distinguished by high qualifications and professionalism. Our doctors successfully combine pedagogical, medical and scientific-research activities. Each of them works with representatives of different sports.
The doctors of the Clinical Center, as members of the Sports Cardiology Group of the European Association of Preventive Cardiology, actively participate in local and international scientific forums.
The Clinical Center regularly organizes scientific events of various formats, participates in local and international congresses and seminars. At the same time, we closely cooperate with the Georgian Olympic Committee, the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia, sports federations and clubs in Georgia.
